This was the scene in Coles of Morisset around midday. It’s Victoria with the COVID-19 problem, not NSW.
To all the panic buyers; Thanks for nothing, you’ve managed to make things worse for everyone else. But you’re okay right?
I hope this buying gets stopped in it’s tracks. The elderly and disabled should not have to line up, again, outside a store in the early hours; often going home without the basic necessity of toilet paper.
Words for today; It’s un-Australian
More to come; Same blog time, same blog channel
In Victoria the supermarkets wised up a lot earlier than last time and have limited certain items to two per person.

That’s good to hear Mary. We’re not having spiking problems (fingers crossed) in NSW but still the panic buyers (stuff everyone else) get in and make it worse. How are things under Dictator Dan and the CCP? Or does everyone like him in contrast to media and social platforms?

I’m sorry to say,Bruce, that Chairman Dan,as he’s known in some circles will be voted back next election.

Seems strange given the constant complaints on social media. The Belt and Roads Initiative also seems a strange thing to do considering it is seen as a security risk with China. All’s quiet on this point though so I suspect all party’s were aware of this deal in one way or another.

Not a strange thing, but dangerous. No other premier would touch it. Much of the mainstream media follows a left wing narrative, so it’s mainly ,’nothing to see here’ attitude.

I don’t understand how national security doesn’t put an end to this. The P.M. would have to know about it yet it doesn’t receive any comment. Regardless of press leanings, he would be able to speak of it but doesn’t. A bit disappointing and puzzling. Tik Tok is getting bad publicity over security and the Fed Govt is talking of banning it. Why don’t they talk of the Belt and Road thing? Weird.

Truly, Bruce. I don’t know. Something may have been said on the quiet. I suspect that the federal government doesn’t have the power to put a stop to it or it would have.

I think the Foreign Investment Review Board can make recommendations as to whether or not an investment is in Australia’s interests. I don’t know why this hasn’t been done if indeed the security risk has been raised.

Wish I knew. Things aren’t as clear as they used to be. Not for me, anyhow.

Nor me Mary. I started reading about the FIRB role and was overcome by clause after clause of this and that which left me no wiser. An accurate summary is what I need from someone who knows what they are talking about.
