Hooked on a feeling – B J Thomas 1968

A golden oldie.

Words for today: Brown suits – I had one of those (only one)

More to come; same blog time, same blog channel

“Hooked On A Feeling”

I can’t stop this feelin’
Deep inside of me
Girl, you just don’t realize
What you do to me

When you hold me in your arms so tight
You let me know everything’s alright

I’m hooked on a feelin’
High on believin’
That you’re in love with me

Lips are sweet as candy
The taste stays on my mind
Girl, you keep me thirsty
For another cup of wine

I got it bad for you, girl
But I don’t need a cure
I’ll just stay addicted
And hope I can endure

All the good love when we’re all alone
Keep it up girl, yeah you turn me on

I’m hooked on a feelin’
High on believin’
That you’re in love with me

All the good love when we’re all alone
Keep it up girl, yeah you turn me on

I’m hooked on a feelin’
I’m high on believin’
That you’re in love with me

    • Hi Maureen. Great minds think alike. Last night I was choosing between ‘Hooked on a Feeling’ and ‘Raindrops keep falling on my head’. I decided to save the Raindrops till later, with the way the real rain is hitting the east coast. I like them both, from another time zone of course. Perhaps you like looking at Paul Newman and Robert Redford as well. I will post that one later if you like?

      • Ha yes, we are in tune. Can’t say that I am a big fan of either of them. You could knock Paul Newman over with a feather. I did enjoy the movie The Sting though.
