A heart attack for thumbs up.

And now for something completely different. While Google Mapping for details on a previous post about fires at Lemon Tree Passage, my attention wandered a little  to images of Salt Ash Air Weapons Range.

Just a click on a picture (screenshots) will quickly show images in a larger format gallery. It’s even better in full screen (then magnify) for the last shot, which shows why I posted this in the first place.

Anyone who lives nearby (my parents used to live at Salt Ash) will know that a conversation outside is difficult when the fighter jets are training.

I didn’t realise just how close the target is to where they lived. As the jets turned for a north (approx.) approach they were low enough for us to see the pilot.

Word for today;   Humour  –  in this case, serious.

More to come;     same blog time, same blog channel.
