Rainbows – Lake Macquarie, Australia

I caught a bit of unusual light and weathery stuff back in June, 2013.

I’m not sure if the angler in the boat caught a fish to brag about, but he seemed to be in the sweet spot.

Word for today;     Rainbow – a spectrum of light.

  1. Gorgeous photo, Bruce. I took a couple outside my home the other day for my little grandson. It was a double rainbow. Unfortunately the second rainbow did not translate to ‘film’ (do we still say film?). My darling (he’s four) was absolutely enthralled. It was close to magic. At that age there are lots of firsts. I’m afraid I can’t recapture how I felt when I saw my first rainbow. I just enjoyed the look on his face.

    • Thanks Mary, a minute either way and I would have missed it. Glad your grandson liked his rainbow and yes we still say film even though it might not be. How many people still say they ‘taped’ something? Old habits die hard I guess although film is still used in various areas of photography.
