Voting under Duress – Iraqis’ get my vote.

Imagine living in Iraq. I can’t.

Despite all the bloodshed, war, oppression, carnage and suicide bombers; the country again holds elections to move on to some form of democracy, a better way of life than the past.

I truly hope they achieve their goal. They deserve it without question.

Encouraged by their leaders to go and vote, even under extreme duress ( loss of their life), the Iraqi people queue up to cast their vote.

They get my award for bravery. I cannot help but admire their courage, spirit and determination.

Word for today: FAITH: something that is believed with strong conviction.

More to come: same blog time, same blog channel.
